Why "Old World Charm"?

Old World Charm began as an initiative between several devout Eastern Orthodox Christians living in the West, who had become increasingly discontented with the impact of the New World Order on daily life, culture, education, the workforce, the arts, media, religion, and almost every facet of modern society.

To quench the poison of the New World Order, they had to come up with the perfect antidote. This initiative and the ensuing discussions led to the birth of Old World Charm. Rather than combat the New World Order in an aggressive manner, Old World Charm achieves its success via the 8beauty and elegance of yesteryear, and the simplicity and sanity of days gone by.

The first task is to publish printed materials for the education of the members of the global community that share our views and concerns. The second task is to provide fashion and lifestyle products that reflect the cultural and religious morality of our fellow Orthodox Christians. The third task is to provide ancient alternative health options to those promulgated by the global pharmaceutical industry and food industry. The fourth task is to provide the products necessary for Orthodox Christians to engage in their cultural and religious duties on special occasions. The fifth task is to provide the products for the needs of Orthodox Christians to fulfill their daily prayer requirements in their home chapels and at their local parishes. The final task is to provide culture-specific products for each cultural group that requires representation, as nationalism has always been used historically as a vehicle to foster unity and solidarity within each cultural group that has embraced Orthodox Christianity.

There is also a blog that keeps the community updated with spiritual and cultural themes and events of importance to devout Orthodox Christians residing in the modern world.
