Each miniature icon is prepared on a wooden board that is 5 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 1 inch thick. The front of each board is prepared with 7 layers of gesso and sanded down to a smooth finish. The sides and back of the board are stained with burnt umber. Each icon is painted with acrylics and gold leaf. Choose your saint and language of inscription. Custom made by order.
